MEdical Info is a local-first mobile app for storing and showing personal medical information such as emergency contacts, medications, allergies, doctor details, surgery history, and insurance information.
Most information entered into MEdical Info is stored locally on the user’s device, including:
No account is required for the current version of the app.
Most medical information remains on the device.
There is one important exception:
If the user does not use address autocomplete, no address lookup request is sent.
If medication reminders are enabled, the app schedules local notifications on the device.
The app can export the stored card as a local JSON backup chosen by the user and import a previously exported backup file selected by the user.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools in the current version of the app.
The app includes optional privacy features such as biometric or device-passcode app lock and screen privacy protection. These features help reduce casual access if someone else uses the device.
No mobile device can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so users should also keep their own device passcode enabled.
MEdical Info does not provide diagnosis, treatment advice, or clinical recommendations. It is an information storage and sharing tool only.
Users should always follow advice from their doctor, pharmacist, hospital, or other qualified clinician.
